A/V Technician/ Installer

J/A/V Integrated Systems, LLC - The Delaware Valley's premier custom installaer of electronics in commercial and residential markets, is currently seeking skilled tradesmen in the audio/ video/ automation/ control field.

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled audio/video system installer in both the commercial and residential markets. We provide a professional, exciting and fun working environment and take extreme pride in the work we do. You will work on projects utilizing high end equipment and tools as well as be given room for creative input, and a great opportunities for growth and education in the fast paced audio & video industry.

Ideal candidates should have 1-5 yrs on job experience. Preferably CEDIA technicians, posess strong TCP/IP networking skills, Control4 automation technicians are a plus.
Candidates must be familiar construction trades, buzzwords, building codes and also maintain a professional appearance and sound mind; as well as speak english and carry a professional attitude. Canidates must be U.S. Citizens and wil undergo background checks and be required to pass drug tests at random.

Projects include the installation of distributed audio & video, home theater/ surround systems, custom fabrications of system components, lighting, HVAC, communications (phone systems) control keypads; modules and servicing, and maintaining and tuning existing systems.

Responsibilities & Skills Required
- Posess the understanding of A/V signal flow and system configuration.
- Read and interpret blueprints/ CAD drawings.
- Cable Puling/ Snaking
- 1-5 years experience working on construction/ job sites.
- Mechanical skills: Anchoring, speaker mounting, in wall wiring, assembly of TV/ projector mounts, equipment racks, etc.
- Familiar with power and hand tool safety.
- Soldering and termination.
- Some heavy lifting required, Flat screens, speakers, etc.
- Availability at off hours/ weekends is required at times.
- Presentable appearance/ hygiene and reads/ writes/ communicates in English.
- Must have own basic tools, valid drivers license and posess a work vehicle.

Additional Qualities
- Control processor programming, Crestron, Control4, Lutron HomeWorks, URC, RTI.
- CEDIA CCP EST II or higher, THX, ISF, Certitech Training Beneficial
- TCP/IP Networking Topology
